American Red Cross of Laporte County hosts several fundraisers in throughout the year, to raise funds for LaPorte County. These funds are used to help educate and train individuals in CPR, Disasters, First Aid and many other areas. The funds are also used to help disaster victims in LaPorte County during their time of need. Last year, our chapter in LaPorte County spent over $30,000 to assist families in LaPorte County.
The American Red Cross is dependant on United Way and generous donations from our community. We receive no government funds unless a said disaster is a level that would be concidered a National Disaster.
